STEWARDSHIP

Love Blue Inc. is committed to responsible stewardship of all funds entrusted to the organization. Contributions are used to advance our mission through programs, community initiatives, education, equipment, and the operational support required to sustain and grow our impact. Financial records are maintained in accordance with nonprofit best practices, reviewed annually, and made publicly available to ensure transparency, accountability, and donor confidence.

HOW YOUR SUPPORT IS USED

Contributions to Love Blue Inc. support both direct programming and the operational infrastructure required to responsibly deliver, scale, and sustain our mission.

Programs & Community Impact — Beach and waterway cleanups, cleanup equipment, Public Cleanup Stations, Trash Art Projects, and educational initiatives.

Chapter Support & Leadership Development — Starter kits, supplies, training, and resources for local chapter leaders and volunteers.

Events & Partnerships — Community events, corporate and municipal collaborations, outreach efforts, and mission-aligned partnerships.

Operations & Compliance — Insurance, accounting, software platforms, reporting, and administrative support required to operate as a compliant nonprofit organization.

TAX INFORMATION

Organizations eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions. Users may rely on this list in determining deductibility of their contributions.

​In general, an individual who itemizes deductions may deduct contributions to most charitable organizations up to 50% (60% for cash contributions) of his or her adjusted gross income computed without regard to net operating loss carrybacks. Individuals generally may deduct charitable contributions to other organizations up to 30% of their adjusted gross income (computed without regard to net operating loss carrybacks). These limitations (and organizational status) are indicated as follows:

A favorable determination letter is issued by the IRS if an organization meets the requirements for tax-exempt status under the Code section the organization applied.
