Love Blue Inc. Gears Up for World Ocean Weekend with Major Events and Partnerships
As World Ocean Weekend approaches, Love Blue Inc. is eagerly preparing for a series of impactful events and collaborations to celebrate and protect our oceans. This year, the organization is kicking off the festivities with an exciting event at Ocean Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, on Saturday, June 8th, World Oceans Day.
Ocean Casino Partnership and Event
Ocean Casino has generously donated $1,000 to support Love Blue Inc.’s mission of ocean conservation. This event will provide an excellent opportunity for Love Blue to connect with casino patrons, other organizations, and the wider community, sharing their mission and encouraging more people to get involved in ocean preservation.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Ocean Casino for World Oceans Day,” said AJ Caruso of Love Blue Inc. “Their generous donation and support allow us to further our mission and reach new audiences. We look forward to a day of meaningful connections and spreading awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans.”
Expanding Connections in Seaside
Following the event at Ocean Casino, Love Blue’s executive team will drive to Seaside to meet with Trisha Devoe AKA Miss Belmar, and other ocean advocacy groups. This gathering aims to strengthen existing relationships and explore new collaborations that can amplify their collective impact on ocean conservation efforts.
“These connections are crucial for building a united front in the fight to protect our oceans,” said Caruso. “By working together with like-minded advocates and organizations, we can achieve much more than we could alone.”
Evening Beach Cleanup in Wildwood
The excitement continues later that evening with a beach cleanup in Wildwood at 6 PM. Volunteers will gather to remove litter and debris from the shoreline, helping to maintain the beauty and health of the local beaches. This cleanup is part of Love Blue’s ongoing efforts to engage the community in hands-on environmental stewardship.
Kicking Off Weekly Cleanups in Wildwood Crest
On Sunday night at 6 PM, the Wildwood Crest chapter will kick off their weekly summer beach cleanups, which will continue until September. These cleanups are crucial in keeping the beaches pristine throughout the busy summer season.
The Wildwood Crest chapter is collaborating with local young entrepreneur Zach Marion and friends from Shoreline Waste Solutions. This partnership not only focuses on cleaning properties but also dedicates time to cleaning the sand, ensuring a comprehensive approach to beach maintenance.
“We’re excited to start our weekly cleanups and collaborate with passionate local leaders like Zach Marion,” said Caruso. “Their dedication to the cause is inspiring and vital for the success of our efforts.”
A Big Weekend Ahead
With a packed schedule of events and collaborations, Love Blue Inc. is gearing up for a significant and impactful World Ocean Weekend. From the support of Ocean Casino to the connections made in Seaside and the hands-on cleanups in Wildwood and Wildwood Crest, the organization is set to make a substantial difference in ocean conservation.
“World Ocean Weekend is a time for us to come together and celebrate our oceans while also taking action to protect them,” said Caruso. “We have a big weekend ahead, and we’re grateful for the support of our partners and the community. Together, we can make a real impact.”
